How recommended reps and rolling matching work
See how your first shortlist is built, why recommendations change, and where earlier matches remain available.
After an approved opportunity is activated, Zilla begins an opportunity-specific search across the rep network. Recommendations can arrive in batches as profiles are reviewed; the first screen is not a promise that every suitable rep has already been found.
What happens after activation
- The matching engine compares your product, target buyers, industries, channels, territories, and selling motion with available rep evidence.
- The strongest current profiles are released to Matches as they become ready.
- New reps and richer profile information are checked while the opportunity remains active.
- The shortlist is re-ranked when stronger evidence appears.
Read the matching overview
- Recommended reps: the strongest profiles currently available to review.
- Profiles analyzed: how much of the relevant network has been reviewed in the current cycle.
- Ongoing search: confirmation that matching continues beyond the first shortlist.
- More recommended reps: earlier relevant profiles that remain available even when newer or stronger profiles move ahead of them.
- Matching activity: a dated record of shortlist releases and network-review progress.
Will I always see three recommendations immediately?
Not necessarily. Recommendations appear after enough profile evidence has been reviewed. A broad opportunity may produce an initial shortlist quickly, while a specialized territory or buyer requirement may take longer or produce fewer credible profiles. Zilla favors relevance over filling a fixed number of slots.
A recommendation is not confirmed interest
A recommended profile indicates evidence of possible fit. It does not mean the rep has applied, accepted the opportunity, or confirmed availability. An applicant has actively responded. An unlocked contact gives you available contact details so you can conduct your own outreach. A verified introduction is part of the separate Managed Rep Launch service.
